Here's a nice article on the distilling scene in Portland.
I've mentioned to some of our most recent guests that while Oregon gets some fame for its wines, and the microbreweries here will make a beer-lover weep, there's also a good number of local vodkas, gins, rums, you-name-it, that we've tried and really liked.
His last line summed it up nicely.
