Anthropologie
I thought this was an interesting article on Anthropologie.
My associations with that store are that an acquaintance of mine left a pretty successful design career to move to NYC and become a designer for them. She loved her job, the last I heard (I am not sure if she still works there or not, I've lost touch with her).
I have a few friends who are pretty passionate about the store, and who were very excited when one was going to open in Madison. I've only been to the one in Portland, and I liked it, although my clothing budget is down to zero for now, until I get back into shape and have a bit more discretionary income.
I'm excited to live somewhere that most women wear dresses. I'm not even sure that I own a dress at this point - no one seems to wear them in Madison or in the midwest. Dresses are sexy and comfortable and I can't wait to find one I love.
