The Pianist
I saw The Pianist last night, and I have to say, while I can admire the film, and I know watching things like is important, I am going to have to limit that. I think that I'm way over sensitive to begin with, and then I watch things like that and it wrecks me.
So instead of sleeping last night, I stared at the ceiling, stressed. Which is making today much less productive than I had planned.
I don't think I'm going to refuse to see films on genocide, but I'm going to be more cautious than I've been in the past. I also feel like I'm not the person who needs to see these films, I get it. I think the people who need to see these films are not probably watching them. So me not sleeping doesn't help anything at all.
