Everybody needs a helping hand
This made me really happy to read about - not the sorrow that the elderly man was dealing with, but about the guy, Allen, who was helping him.
I would be very happy to do stuff like this, but I am not sure how to hook up with someone who is elderly and lonely to hang out with them. I'm going to start looking through various volunteering sites to see if I can find something like that.
