Bah
All my ambitious plans for today are going by the wayside due to oversleeping (a lot! I accidentally slept in until 10 a.m.!!!) and an overdue, unannounced visit by someone to fix our bathtub, in which the drain was broken.
I'm frustrated because I feel like I'm not getting anything done even when I work hard and plan for it.
However, I did manage to read the arguments for the Oregonian election, and voted just after my shower. I like that Oregon gives you the ballot, what the law is, and then arguments for and against what you are voting. For Proposition 49, there were over 50 pages of Pros and Cons, which I read. So at least I got that done. I summarized things for Brian, but I suspect he wants to read the same things I did and discuss them before he votes.
Now, I am waiting for the noise to stop, hopefully in time for me to get some real things done today. I suspect because it's already 2:24 that today's plans will have to be moved to tomorrow.
Katie and I are going to head out to Hawthorne tonight to grab a slice of pizza, a pint of beer and a wander.
