Trees, costumes and derbies
We went to the Adult Soapbox Derby on Mt Tabor today. It was really cool - they limit it to 30 entries, some of whom are trying to win (science) and some of whom want their soapbox derbies to look cool or interesting (art).
There were a lot of people there, most of whom were drunk. Next year we will bring some beer and a blanket to sit on while we watch. People cheered at the right bits and it was flawless weather for it.
The only other thing that really happened today is that we got our couch, the one that matches the chair we love, but wouldn't fit into our old place. It fits in this one just fine, yay! Now we just have to get pillows for it, and the living room is done.
