Metafilter, of which I've been a lurker since 2000 or so and a member since 2002, is celebrating its 8th birthday this year.
And they are doing it at Ground Kontrol in Portland, after I will be living there. Matt Haughey said all the games will be on free play (whoo!) and that they've added a bar. So. awesome. I'm really excited, even though I won't really know anyone unless some of the Madison Mefites go. But I'll meet people, and it'll be super cool in any event!
