Me as a child
This picture is one of my favorites of me.
I like my expression, and my hair in braids like this. My mom told me that I had pneumonia in this picture, and that's why I look so serious.
Now, going back and looking at the picture after I've scanned it into my computer, the thing that stikes me is how many of the items in the picture I now own. The table and lamp are in my living room right now. I still have the ashtray that is in the picture. The moose next to the lamp holds one of Brian's pipes. The papasan is in the basement until we can get it repaired.
The only things that are not at my house are the basket on the floor (fell apart about 4 years ago), and the rocking chair I'm sitting on. Gretchen has the rocking chair because she's the one who had kids to use it!
