Beauty is in the eye...
Remembered due to a conversation in an online community that I'm part of:
My grandfather called me Weed :) He meant it affectionately, but given that I was skinny, too tall and had freckles, it probably fit better than it should have. I can't believe anyone considers such a pretty plant as heather a weed, but some people do.
