Annie
I get to see "Annie" in Milwaukee with Gretchen and her kids this week!
There was a neighborhood girl that I didn't get along with growing up in Oregon, because she was really bossy and slightly mean (she grew up to be a perfectly lovely adult oddly enough).
She'd always insist on getting to be Annie when the neighborhood kids were playing.
She threw such a bad temper-tantrum when Daddy Warbucks (played by one of the rare boys in my neighborhood, and my best friend until I was like 12, Andy) ran off with Miss Hanigan (me) because we were bored with the whole thing and wanted to play with our Star Wars figures.
"You don't play it right!" See? Didn't follow the rules very well, even back then.
